hey sorry the other thread was closed, but does anyone else have any general notes on the movie as a powerplay, i'm going to get it to watch to pick up more info, but any you guys have, maybe from teachers or whatever, would be great.
also thanks heaps to the last person who gave me that info, it has helped so much im not so worried about it now i actually feel like i know what im doing.

id probably use it as an imaginative journey,
but thats off this thread...

(I spoil the climax if i mention how its a powerplay...)

hey, yeah i've already seen it before, i already have other texts to use for imaginitive journey although it would be really goiod as one. but it was mentioned on here that Fight Club is really good as a powerplay as well if you take it from a gender perspective, and also the guy literally fighting with himself, to gain power and control over his life and who he is.

so yeah, but any other info would be great

and the ending... by blowing everything up
do they become more powerful than those insurance companies
and banks?

nah those ideas are fine, i like the blackmail one, i thinks its a good powerplay text as on the surface it's clearly imaginitive but deeper down its really a powerplay.
any i deas are great, i could have used it as imaginitive but its too late now. Also when they fight each other i guess it is kinda a powerplay cause they wanting power over each other sorta thing.... maybe, i don't really know. but anyway
