If you fail FINS1613, I suggest you drop Finance major because the course is so easy.
If you are an accounting student, then I guess better luck next time.

Hardly any of them have huge amounts of maths. Unless you consider dividing something by 1+i a huge amount of maths.

the content of the exam was fine... just the time constraint which made it harder. given an extra few minutes that exam wouldve been much better. also for bizfins this sem everyones marks going into the final would/should have been >40/50, so clearly they have to make the final harder than the class tests

If its like last year, you dont need a textbook. If youre extra keen and want to go beyond the lecture notes, get the textbook. Just a warning, its filled with ads and plugs for companies.

Quick question: Am I meant to do FINS1612 before FINS1613?

I lost all my marks in the final exam, but still did relatively well.

I thought the course was fair. Alot of people (that I know, anyway) did well in the quizzes so they really couldn't have made the finals any easier.

Do you actually mean that you lost all the marks in the final and got 0/50? Or do you mean that you didn't lose a mark in quizzes? Both are equally amazing. :D

I think the fact that he said he still did relatively well, indicates that he had 50/50 leading into the finals. I also lost all my marks in the final.

What did you end up with capitalist?
