i handed my yr12 chem book back and now for uni i need a anwser outof it.

in flame tests, what colour does the metals turn.
1.barium
2.sodium
3.lithium
4.calcium
im pretty sure barium goes apple green but i cant remember 100% sure. plz help!!!!!

barium - green
sodium - bright yellow
lithium - red
calcium - orange - red

i think thats it, i remember reading this somewhere

Yep, those colours are just about right. The barium would be a more yellowish green and lithium a more crimson red colour.
