yeah for the UNSW app it says any extra sheets will be destroyed without being read :(

anyhoo, i'm gonna freak out if they ask for an interview, i'm crap at those. i haven't even done any extra voluntary work or anything! and i'm not gonna write down something i haven't done on the app form.

Back to the first questions. The word limit is 800 words (for 2003 anyway).

If you want to get around the limited space given type up your answers.
And also, and I could be wrong, the cv is not used to determine interviewees, but can be used in the final selection process.

You can only type up the first few pages of the form, the other pages (your answers etc) must be hand written and signed. I don't think they use the form to determine the final rankings; the interview, UMAT and Yr 12 marks are given equal weighting for your final rank.

He looks after selection stuff.

Yes, I was confused cos in last years cv form it said "The Faculty may use other information you have provided here to assist in the selection process," but they've taken that line out of this year's cv form.

No, not at all. don't worry =D

I found the link you said. But as it's an information sheet, I was wondering maybe it contains something not mentioned on the website....

Nah, absolutely nothing. I emailed the Uni and the staff was unwilling to disclose anything about the annual intake....not to mention the sub-quota for different categories...

Are you currently studying at Monash? If so, could you estimate the numbers? Is the class size very large?
