They are cluttering up my shelf, so I thought Id do the Samaritan deed and give them to those who need them. To buy them new would cost you a bit of money (I think I spent around $600 - $700 on them). They are all in very good to excellent condition and most of them have been covered.

If you are interested, drop me a PM and Ill give you my number and well work something out. The best thing if you want a few of them would be to come to my house and pick them up, but if you are only after one or two then I can give them to you at uni. If you want to pick them up, Im pretty flexible with when you can come since Im unemployed at the moment.

I wont type out the whole title and author listings, but Ill state the subjects I have textbooks for. Theyll probably be used in the corresponding subjects this year, but if they arent then its no real loss since they were free.

HIST1011 - Emergence of Modern Europe A
HIST1014 - Enter the Dragons
SOCA1004 - Relationships in Society/Socialogical Relationships
POLS1018 - Introduction to Modern Political Theory

Heres to hoping someone here will need them

EDIT: Books for EDST1101, EDST1102, ENGL1007 and ENGL1001 have been collected.

Can I just say that's really kind of you. Not that I'll need any of your books anyway. Cheers.

Yea, no worries guys. I honestly couldnt be bothered carting them all to a second hand store so it makes it easy on me too, especially since Im trying to unclutter all my stuff at the moment (argh, too many CDs and books I dont want).

I will most likely need the EDST ones coz I'm doing those subjects this year, but looks like Butterfly Kissz has first dibs :p Emergence of Modern Europe could come in handy too.

Good choice. That subject was really fruity IMO. I figured in a course called Sociological Relationships youd look at power relations and stuff in society, but the course was just strange. Like every second lecture the lecturers would put a picture up and tell you to describe how it makes you feel. Theyd do this for like 20 minutes! I didnt understand WTF was going on the whole semester. I didnt understand any of the assesments so I started bludging as much as possible. We had to keep a weekly diary of our feelings for the week and then we got assessed on it. I filled my with how much I hated the subject and why and how I didnt like the style of teaching. I ended up getting a HD in it and I still dont know what was going on.

I was going to do POLS1018, but I had a clash so I'm doing POLS1017 instead.

Can you tell me what POLS1018 is like, cause I might change my mind?

POLS1018 was really good. I can only speak really highly of it. The lecturer was really knowledgable and taught well and things were pretty interesting so the tutorial discussions were pretty good all the time.

Political Philosophy is not everyones bag though. I know a lot of people who struggled with where the course was coming from.
