Hi,

I am writing a Legal Studies Essay. So when we refer to case studies in the body paragraphs, do we need to re tell the case, or just use it to answer the question, assuming the marker already knows about the case?

Don't retell the story, but rather incorporate it in a sentence that makes sense. Sentences after can refer back to case as an example

You definitely do not need to delve into the case very deeply at all. What you need to do is link the the main issue regarding your case with your main arguments and then supplement that with some statistics or quotes. That way your essays will be more sophisticated and you will get higher marks
