I found it fairly easy

Re: Exam Thoughts

That was so much easier than I expected.

It took like an hour to finish the exam.

I was considering leaving early, but I'm glad I didn't, as everytime I went over the paper I found an extra point I could add, found silly mistakes etc.

Haha, nice one. Did you mean the Haber process one?

I thought the exam was pretty good, and I got most of the calculations.

Did everyone multiply by 2 in the Sulfuric acid one? (Because it's diprotic)

Hmm I disagree I thought the 4 marker with saponification was pretty ambiguous.. I ended up just writing about soap and glycerol since I never learnt that detergents are products of saponification (or are they?) but yeah apart from that question it was pretty ok.

I agree.
I hate Chem.
I'd rather write 20 essays than do a chem exam lol.
I guess i didnt study much anyway.
I dont think it will count for me.
I hope it doesnt count. lol
But i screwed up ALL the calculations =[
i thought the multiple choice were good
i have seen harder papers.
But this was hard enough.
Industrial Chem was okay...
A few questions i sucked at but.
Anything more than 60% is a bonus
=/

Is it just me or did anyone else in the industrial chem section think there was a typo in the equilibrium constant question or have I just missed something in class? We were supposed to find the equilibrium constant at 373K. Was it supposed to be 273K (i.e. 0 degrees) or did we have to draw a graph and extrapolate (with only two points)? Any thoughts?

it doesn't matter that it was 373K. probably just put there to try to confuse people... my teacher always told me to state the equilibrium with a temperature..

eg. K = 1.33 at 373K

Since it changes. But no, don't think it was meant to be 273K

I thought overall the chem exam was a fair test.

However i thought i did bad myself cause i didnt study much. I reckon this is the 2 units that wont count in my UAI.

Well thats goodbye to chemistry

I actually thought it was quite difficult. And I did study, which is why I'm kind of upset by my performance. The majority of my classmates also struggled with it.

I had half an hour and I'm fuming that I didn't bother checking over my MC, I made such a stupid error in q7. :(
