It was easy. Too easy. I suspect foul play. The only thing that I was annoyed about was spending 10 minutes too long on one part and having to miss a bit of another one, which will probably cost me a couple of marks, but that was my own lack of time management. The exam itself was awesome.

I actually picked what the Wuthering Heights question was going to be.

Both Transformations and Truth were pretty general, so I liked them.

I'm not brave enough to say I did well - but I did like the questions and the knot in my stomach certainly vanished after I saw them. Apart from Section 1 in the AOS, English was suprisingly good. I hope that trends continues...

lolol easiest questions ever + 3 essays = love explosion in reading time.

Just over a booklet for each.

King Lear should fucking die five acts before Shakespeare intended him to.

I wish I owned the school's copy of King Lear just so I could fucking rip it to fucking pieces.

Module B fucking screwed me up.

Really good paper...good, fair questions...

However, I don't like to say it was easy - as I can never really tell how well i did..

but over all i think it was sooo a better paper than paper 1!! well at least better than the comprehension!!

goodluck to everyone for the rest of your exams! :)

Cloudstreet was very easy this year. I think the BOS wisened up to threats with bullshit questions about one minor character.

i reckon the questions were fair they wernt overlly easy but they wernt hard

what i didnt like about them was that you could only write about limited thing eg in transformation two elements and module B just about relationships so that was gay cause i studyed more for different stuff in fact i didnt relli study relationships at all but pretty easy just to write bout it i guess

Surely not? I was just thinking they'll be more nazi-like on quotes / textual evidence / sophisticated / technique analysis.

I dunno, length would be a factor in some cases, but like someone else said, the questions were very limiting in the amount you could write and what you could talk about. Responses that were quality, and long, will usually beat responses that are not, so are you saying that length will become the main disrciminant, or just another important discriminant?

Module C was another 'regurgitate your response.' Module A transformations was crap. It basically said, pick two things and be generic about them. Module B i think, did not cater for the range of possible interpretations of King Lear. It was heavily in favour of familial type readings about dynamics between individuals as opposed to the general exploration of the human condition, which i know is going to screw me up.
