actually I might have got pi/6, I forget.

Even if I did write pi/12 I'd still get 3/4, so I'm happy now =] =] =]
Claire I sent it to your school email

i dont think u had to do any of that
i jus split the fraction up
so i got 1/x + 1/(2x-1)^1/2

and then the first one becomes a log and the second one jus becomes a simple linear integration
You can't split up fractions like that.

It would be

1/x X 1/(2x-1)^1/2

which you can't make a log and linear intergration.

iv)1/9:2/9:2/9 = 4/9

probably wrong.

i hated that test
That's what I got!!

Re: What did you think?

b is current of water and terminal velocity...
because eventually the velocity of the boat or wateva has to match the current that it is in

i actually thought the paper was pretty good - the other girls who did it thought it was pretty hard though... maybe cause i peracticed heaps of harder 3u and there was heaps?
i thought the intergation was a little bit difficult, but i got them all (i think).
the paper did feel different as other people said, but i dont think it was that bad...
i finished half an hour early and got to go back over it and probably scored another 10 marks because of it, then i got bored and waited till the end...

i really wasnt expecting to feel this good about it, especially cos everyone else thought it was pretty hard, but maybe im just being optimistic? who knows.
that's pretty tank? what mark are you looking at out of 120?

Re: What did you think?

Definately the 1 in a hardest long time. Didnt get anywhere near finished. Lol out of the three of us that do it at our school any of us will be lucky to get a raw over 50. Ill b happy with one over 40 at this rate! im just glad i dont need it! Aiming for a uai over 90 but only need one over 76 :) so that takes a bit of pressure off. That, and my lowest counting 2 units won't count anyway! Just gotta keep everything else up now!

i said it was the starting velocity of the boat sitting in the water, would that count as the current of the water??

That was a terrible test! I was feeling good before I went in but the most I can get is like 70%. I really hope it scales well D=

Re: What did you think?

I reckon that test was alright. Different, as people said. But not incredibly difficult or impossible...xD

Never having to walk into a 4 unit class, or even look at another paper. Damn this is good.
