Hey, sorry for the late reply, but I'm finally back from camp and other miscellaneous stuff!! As for this question, I'm pretty sure it's fine if you put 1^3 + 2^3 + 3^3 + ...... n^3 since an expression can include ellipses and since n is an undefined no. I'm pretty sure that's what they wanted you to do for that question.Not too sure if guys are still interested, but the last question (finding the general expression for n) was:
[FONT=굴림]1/4 n^4 + 1/2 n^3 + 1/4 n^2[/FONT]
If you guys were able to see that the pattern was a quartic, you may have been able to solve it by simulataneously solving it!
But I'm starting to think from this discussion that I didn't need to go through with all that labour!!!!!

n^nyeah, i know some people put n^n, but im pretty sure thats not it. stuffed that up lol
