well commerce + arts one have gotten rid off such things. arts hasn't loaded up anything yet, but commerce modules definitely have on webct.

I have access to everything, there's just no content on most of the courses. My history course already has a course outline as well as an intro thing up.

hey carols, yeah - like mike said, only the depreciation expenses and such deductions can only be claimed in general if they are related to your work?

ie. working in an accounting firm (job) + studying a commerce degree (study) = related. so deductions can be claimed.

I was curious to see for myself the content for this semester's subjects and familiarise myself with it and see how difficult they are compared to previous semester.
But yeah holidays are fun especially when eating ramen at restaurants.

I was thinking of starting a bitch thread on the price of textbooks, but that would be pointless.

I can't afford to buy textbooks.
I'll just buy the notes instead and pay very good attention to lectures and tutorials and skip little or none of them.

So I can plan another semester of no lectures. Went to one lecture last semester.

What I plan to do is not go to lectures that provide lecture notes webct and go to those that dont because during my first year, the lecturer in charge for accounting 1a did not provide lectures notes on webct and instead you had to fill in the blanks in the course notes you bought and so there were major problems during the semester for that subject for me cause there wasnt any material to rely on besides the textbook. So that a big mistake on my behalf.

Then again, we are suppose to go to lectures but last semester I experimented to see if I could cover the material on the own because I cant seem to follow what goes on in a lecture.

Also the edition changes don't mean much in terms of the content (i don't think that changes at ALL). The only thing that changed with the QMA textbook was that tutorial question page numbers changed. I was able to sell that no problems.

But seriously, i know so many people who did well by just revising the webct answers for tutorial and preparation questions at the end of each week. Do that and it's aitch dee! Attempting it before class is helpful (if you even go to class) but the net gain is not worth the effort put in (plotted on a linear equation graph )

Jap course notes are released by semester (for level 2 at least).

Not gonna buy the QMB textbook.. didn't really use it for A and I'm just going to photocopy what I need if I ever need it or just work with my friends old edition.
