i remember in the GB colour yellow version how it was the ONLY pokemon that would actually follow you...!
i still prefer (charmalean?) the fire type though..

They're recreating the umm, Gold and Silver versions for DS.. and in them any Pokemon can follow you... Man I used to love that game.
