I would suggest you ask the admissions department within the student centre of USYD a very direct question

"If I have an ATAR of XXX, what GPA from one year of tertiary study would have got me into degree YYYY this year"

Thank you I was unaware there was a specific department for that. Just called, apparently based on previous years I would need a better than credit grade average, though with my atar taken into account there could be some leniency

good luck! 92 atar will give you a good shot at it.

There are more employment opportunities with a double degree.
yeah. I'll pick up engo or do Comm (lib studies - major in economics for the arts side) after semester one. Called USYD they said they will take into account my atar only.
