Graduate Entry Medicine for Pharmacist (1 Viewer)

At the moment, I dont think I will get the ENTER I need to get into Medicine, but enought to get into pharmacy which is something I am considering.

What I wanted to know was how hard is it to enter into graduate medicine after completing a degree such as Pharmacy. I know you have to consider the GAMSAT and etc but seriously, how hard is it?

I think it would be great doing it in this pathway, b/c then you can work as a pharmacist while you study and not be broke . Its also a great backup!

Any ideas/suggestions?

Sounds like a plan but you should be happy being a pharmacist (worst case scenario).

yeah i am really interested in hospital pharmacy...I already work in community pharmacy as my part time job

But medicine is something I would also like to do, hence my plan, LOL

Yeah paging dr is great for seeking information and opinions in relation to the GAMSAT.

i worked with a general surgeon who had done pharmacy first - wanted to make big money working for a pharmaceutical company but then realised it was pretty heartless so he did grad med at sydney.

what's the uai for pharm? how does that compare to the uai for all the med schools in australia? some r relatively low.

i know at monash they consider you if you get over 95 and 160 umat.
