how you calculate [H+] ion concentration if you are given a pH. Eg. what is the [H+] when the pH is 4.63?

and it has to be a strong acid for the calculation to be correctrnitya_25 said:calculating the pH also depends on whether the substance is monoprotic, diprotic or polyprotic. make sure you know and use that, because then the pH will be wrong.
