OK, I'm trying to do something constructive here so bear with me.........
I thought that it *might* be a good idea to get some possible questions going here and then if people want to discuss possible answers etc, then that can be done as well.
My suggestion is that we post our half yearly questions (not the multiple choice as we could be here for ever....) to share the knowledge and maybe to work out a pattern or possible question/answer responses (does this make sense??)

Anyway, to get us started, here are the questions from our 1/2 yearly. We did two prepared essays instead of exams but our questions were typical of the extended answer style of response for the Cross Depth Study.

Q1. Analyse the contribution made by Aboriginal spirituality to the understanding of the nature of religious experience in Australia

Q2.(choice of three)
a) (ETHICS)
Evaluate, giving specific examples of the nature, role and significance of ethics within ONE religious tradition

b)(TEACHERS AND INTERPRETERS)
Evaluate the nature, role and importance of a pivotal individual or school of thought from ONE religious tradition chosen from ONE period: Either from the period of early foundation
OR
A period of growth, division or crisis
OR
The contemporary period

c)(RELIGION AND WOMEN)
Evaluate the role and importance of ONE woman from ONE religious tradition in ONE of the specified periods:
Either in the early years of the tradition, in the life of the founder or in religious stories
OR
A period of growth, division or crisis
OR
The contemporary period

OK, lets start to share!!

we just had our half yearly on friday... so off the top of my head the questions were...

1)Discuss the influence of Christianity on TWO area's of society
- social welfare
- public morality
- laws
- education
-um and the other ones... not sure

2)Soemthing about aboriginal spirituality and governmnet politics and connection iwth the land...

then there were the media quesitons
'religion is newsworth' - discuss

how is religion shown in the media

Compare teh responce of one non religious tradtion adn one religions tradition on
-origins of universe
-life after death
-material possessions
-soemthing elese

i'll fill in the blanks when we get teh exam back
