Yep. It'll get you. Do check out 'pain' though, in encyclopedia dramatica. It's the same thing, but a collage, as opposed to seperate images.

Yeah, Frenzal can count :p

Check out Assück if you haven't already if you like the old school stuff.

YouTube - Assück - Qed
Cheers, they sound like they are halfway between Napalm Death and Dying Fetus :] I like!

I didn't mention that kinda stuff cuz I figured the online genre nazi's would tell me it's not punk :p

If we count post-punk, you gotta love The Birthday Party

And yeah... I pretty much like most of the bands people have mentioned here... Although Colour Me Blood Red is pretty much the only Converge son I can get into... dunno why...

Cool, glad you like it. Nah man, grind is punk for sure.

The only Post-punk band I have is Joy Division and that's about as entry level as it gets, but it's good for a listen now and then.

Converge are a pretty love 'em, hate 'em kinda band. I'm friends with people that appreciate metal and stuff like that but they simply can't handle Converge.

Anyway, TWO MORE BANDS!

YouTube - Weekend Nachos - Acceptable Violence

and

YouTube - MAGRUDERGRIND (THE PROTOCOLS OF ANTI- SOUND)

The drop is at about the 1 minute mark for this one ^^

Oh, also, your avatar... Psyopus? As in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIiYwKO88aY

I'm not a fan of Marudergrind, I've tried to get into them before, but they do nothing special for me.
Weekend Nachos are great though lol. Never heard of them before, they are good fun.

Yep, that PsyOpus, I used to really love them, still think they are good fun, though really I only keep that as my avatar because (believe it or not) it's the best thing I've ever drawn lol. I REALLY Can't draw.

okies... well, if we are talking grind, we're more in my headspace now :]
ummm... okies more bands to check out...

YouTube - Ed Gein - Pee Wee HermanPaul Reubens

YouTube - Layne's Hand Job

YouTube - Dudefest '09

YouTube - The Crinn - Sick

My personal favourite: YouTube - CAR BOMB - "M^6"

Ah that's fair enough then. Yeah, I went through a small tech metal phase listening to bands like to Psyopus, Ion Dissonance, Into the Moat, Dillinger Escape Plan etc. The only band that's stuck with me is Dillinger, actually.

I think I've sort of moved on now though, like I can listen to it still and appreciate it but it doesn't really do it for me like other music can now. Still, bands like that are immensely talented.

You heard Extortion?

Woah! Extortion XD
They be epic win!

I don't move on, I can listen to anything that I've ever really loved and still love it just as much, makes my music taste interesting though...
people are like "so what are you into?" and their brains explode when I respond with like "oh you know... Free jazz... Technical Death Metal... 20th Century Classical... Grindcore/Punk..."

:shoot:
