i havent started my pip and im in need of help.And nto becoz iv been lazy either.
anyone with any info in relation to australian media stereotypes on race would be most appreciated.

Do some secondary research first.

You need to narrow done "race" to a SPECIFIC race., because its too broad otherwise.
Also relate your topic to a handful or course concepts [this will be up to you, you really need to be specific with your topic and have around4 questions that you would like to answer]

It is far too late to do any sufficient primary research, so you are def. gonna have to rush like crazy cos you have a little more than 2 weeks left.

Theres no such thing as being good at writing logs. You had the responsibility to be keeping one for the past 9 months while undertaking your research and recording all the significant moments. If you havent kept a log, then you cant write a log.

o.m.g. start now! I didn't finish till 8.45am the morning it was due, and that was only because i had to drive to school to hand it in at 9, but wow, I'm glad you're finally starting. it's possible to pull a PIP off the night before, maybe, just take a look at this thread:

anyway there are heaps of stuff on the term "muslim appearance" and "middle-eastern appearance" used in the media. and as someone working in the media, there is a problem with these terms being thrown around so easily by the media and creating a terrorist stereotype.

so maybe you can work with that, the stereotype of the terrorist, the term "middle-eastern appearance" and the position of the Australian media and its ever changing landscape.

I am a chronic procrastinator ... I tried to avoid all the PIP dramas and had my PIP ("MySpace is a significant catalyst for socialisations for adolescents") the Friday before the holidays!

It was due today, Monday. Our teachers made the whole thing due way early on purpose ... to prevent all-nighters etc! But last night, Sunday, she rings me up and says, "Ummm ... you've kinda maybe forgotten the Cross-Cultural Component!"

So I ended up working up until 2am anyways because of my silly mistake! >_<

But it's all good. Feels like a weight off my head. Now for trials...
