dunno how it froze or how to fix it..... has this happened to anyone ?? it just froze now and i had it attached to my computer cos i was putting more songs on it... usually it has that "do not disconnect" thing flashing on the screen, so that's the last thing it says right now.. i've unplugged it from the comp, and re-plugged it but still frozen..

will it unfreeze eventually or do i have to go to a shop or something ??! reps for anyone who can help :(

Hold down menu+pause (I think off the top of my head) and it'll reset.

isn't there a physical reset button on Ipods.

Because my ipod froze and i took it into the apple centre on broadway and they poked something and it was reset.

I guess you could wait until the battery dies.

Although quickly tapping menu + pause as mentioned should reset it.

my ipod froze on me once. i couldn't do ANYTHING.

I did as Reaver said, waited for the batteries to die.
After that, gave it a full recharge vic AC/FireWire, not USB.

worked fine.

I just realised on clickwheel menu and pause wouldn't really work =p

Edt: Because the wheel is one button.

See your local iPOD dealer and get him to fix it

iPods jam occaisonally depending on what you're doing. Unless it starts doing it all the time, there's no issue in hitting reset once every few months =)

If all else fails, just wait till the battery goes flat.....itll turn off and then just reconnect it to the charger and turn it back on

I'm impatient. i wouldn't wait for the battery to die cos that would take awhile..
