Hi.

I was wondering whether anyone was able and willing to help me with my assessment task. I have to write an essay on the success of Australia's current moves to alter our protection levels and international competitiveness. In the essay i have to include:

- How is the US trade deal (AUSFTA) likely to affect future deals with China, Europe and Asia - I have found some info on China and Asia but I can't seem to find anything on Europe - ANY IDEAS?

- How the US and the EU have addressed global movements towards free trade in recent years - DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD FIND SOME INFO ON THIS?

There is some other stuff that I have to include in the essay but I've already got some info on that. The above sections i am struggling with. If anyone has any ideas on these issues or where to get the info from it would be greatly appreciated.

i'd probably check out the EU @ http://europa.eu.int/ for to help with global movements and i also found this newsletter @ http://www.dfat.gov.au/trade/negotiations/us_fta/newsletter/ausfta_4_03.html. Other than that i suggest you just search through newspapers and on the internet for articles on the topics you mentioned

Thanks so much. I had a look at the sites you suggested and they are really helpfu. Now I just have to write the stupid essay!
