I am looking for sources from ancient greece to do with myths and legends!

do you know of any that could be helpful?

homer - IMPORTANT SOURCE - two books "the Iliad" + "the odyssey"

mythology - linear a + Linear B clay tablets, archaeological evidences, such as from statues, statuettes, figurines and wall paintings

herodotus - wrote about asia minor and greek islands

Pausanias wrote of various myths and legends associated with regions and cities throughout the Greek world.

thats all i can think of off the top of my head sorry but i hope thats a bit of help!

you can also have a look into Hesiod - he wrote Theogany which outlined the generations of the gods. (not a difficult text to read)

Ovid also wrote a heap of myths and legends. We had to use his metamorphoses collection for uni last year
