I have an essay coming up about Hamlet (for Module B). I don't know the question (nobody does). What would be some things that I could write about?

I hate Shakespeare and have a dull teacher, any help appreciated. Thanks

There was this good show on 'Hamlet' just on the ABC on Sunday called 'Shakespeare Uncovered'. You should check it out on iView.

Or you could just have a read of the 'Hamlet' article on sparknotes.com and work your way from there.

"Action and Inaction"

^ essentially everything can be moulded around this for Hamlet.
E.g. Hamlets internal dilemma --> Inaction
The actions of Polonius leading to consequences etc etc etc
Be creative with it, link EVERYTHING to it.

Also, look at all the past HSC questions for Hamlet and see how you can adapt 'Inaction and Action' to it.

Hamlet truly was the most tedious of all the modules. Work at it and it will pay off! Good Luck!
