we leave from darling harbour .. friends of mine just went on pacific sun and they said to board straight away cos u get terrific views of the harbour and all that .. as for smuggling alco i dont drink but apparently you can sneak vodka in as water if u put it in a water bottle and bring it with you .. i know beers are $4.50 for the cheapest beer ..

hi jay, im john.. i added ya on msn, but just to let you know, my mates and i have decided $1300... $100 to spend each night, and $500 for anything that pops up.. i had a mate who went last year.. he stepped on a sea urchin, he was out for 3 days and medical bills were expensive, make sure to look into insurance.. its only $79, it covers all medical, most electrical i.e. cameras etc, and most of your other shit.. Apart from that, I CANNOT WAIT! SCHOOLIES WILL BE FANTASTIC!

Cheapest beer is $4.50?! Damn son! I'm not made of money! That's a bit of a bummer... if only i could somehow smuggle my goon on board. Went and got my ticket today but it's pretty vauge as to what our theme nights are... they probably do it on purpose so they can flog off crappy theme night junk on board for ridiculous prices. Did anyone else get their room upgraded? We paid for an inside room but now we've got a room with a window!!!!! OMFG! SCORE!! w00t!!/!!1! Jesus, i can't believe P&O expect people to pay an extra $300 each for a room with a window. What a crock.
Anyway, can't wait till the 9th!

HOLY SHIT FUCK PISS!

Now that the obscenities are out of the way I would just like to point out that in exactly two weeks, we shall all be boarding the ship at Darling Harbor and getting ready to cruise out of Sydney Heads with the sun setting behind us, drink in hand of course! It is gonna be sooo much fun! If anyone wants to find me on the cruise I will either be lounging on the pool deck sipping cocktails or trying my luck at the Blackjack tables in the Casino, now that is my idea of a holiday!

I do have a couple of questions though.

1. What are the exact theme nights? (The P&O pamphlet was the epitome of vague when it came to talking about them)
2. Any ideas on what prices drinks are? (I heard Cocktails were around $7-8 and mixers about $5 - am I right?)
3. How much cash is everyone taking?

hey mate.. i've heard a couple of things, what i've been getting the most is to expect a formal night (so basically bring your yr12 formal clothes, a pj's night (apparently this gives some girls the chance to dress like sluts), and an 80's night... others are all listed in the little hand book, but those are the most recurring, see you soon mate!

Hey about cameras, just got my new digital camera today! One of those new waterproof and shockproof ones, can't wait to take some awesome photos on the islands, I only hope that it hasn't put too much of a dent in my spending money, cause I mean a camera is nice but alcohol is better. Plus if anyone else is bringing a camera or anything else of high value I suggest you have Travellers Insurance, when me and my mates got tickets through Harvey World Travel, insurance basically was included in the price.

Anyway, I'm off but I thought I might spread some of my giddiness to all my fellow cruisers and point out that it's only 10 sleeps to go

p&o announce the theme nights on the 6th so we have like 3 days 2 prepare...but it will most likely be some of those listed above

i heard a rumor about them closing the bars at 10pm to 'avoid intoxication'...its schoolies for christsake thats what we do!! ...does anyone know if this is true?? i fukin hope not cuz hte night only starts at 10

they check bags but people say u can smuggle on grog in shampoo, listerine etc bottles

and yea there is no proven boy/girl ratio....im sure there will be plenty to go around!!
