Hi there,
Although I am currently full for private tutoring, I will be extending my tutoring services for Mathematics Extension 2 through a tuition centre at Cabramatta to cater for any extra demand.
This is a relatively new centre but regardless of what you may have heard/not heard about it, I will essentially be in charge of composing the worksheets, notes and classes for Mathematics Extension 2 using my own resources from my private tuition. By doing this through a tutoring centre, I am essentially offering similar tutoring services as I do privately, but at a much more affordable price. The price is about $20 per lesson (i.e. $10 per hour) which is much lower than what I charge privately.
A bit about myself:
I graduated from Sefton HS in 2006 (a top 20 school in mathematics lately) with top 5 internal ranks in both Mathematics Extension courses and I have FOUR years of experience in tutoring. This means that I have thoroughly developed and refined my tutoring techniques over many years based on past student feedback.
My 2006 HSC marks in mathematics were:
* Mathematics Extension 1 – 97 / 100
* Mathematics Extension 2 – 94 / 100
I have also scored HD average across mathematical units of study at uni (including 100 in Mathematical Economics, 93 in Financial Mathematics Advanced and 91 in Mathematics SSP B). This means you can expect someone who not only has a solid grounding in mathematics but is highly passionate about the beauty and power of mathematics.
Many of my former students have shown substantial improvements from being near the bottom of the class to being within the top 10. I've had a great record with students in the past, with about 70% of all my former students scoring a band 6/band E4 in their mathematics courses. For EVERY ONE of them so far, mathematics ended up being their best subject. So whether you need help in understanding the raw content of the course or if you are near the top and want that little bit extra to climb to the peak, I will provide a stimulating and challenging environment.
On many occasions you might find me helping out some people on certain questions in the relevant forums, so you know that I am genuinely dedicated to supporting your studies. I am confident that with your cooperation, I can make a significant contribution to your studies.
