Can someone please help me, on what I should write about this question, it is an extended response so I require to write quite a lot (2 pages at least)
Question:
Discuss the accuracy of the following statement:
"Australia joined the Vietnam war for the sole purpose of stopping Communism".

On the one hand there was a serious fear of communism and the domino theory perpetuated throughout that period, seen by many policies including Robert Menzies such as the attempted banning of the communist party.

On the other hand, Australia was a very strong supporter of US foreign policy and we were likely to follow where-ever they told us to go.
