Yeah that Kate Hollywood chick is damn fine. Our girls are hotter than the Dutch ones, shit Id love to be in the changerooms...

Mens hockey? Ill be going for the Kookaburras, but my interest was in the womens coz it was in Canberra, so I went to a few games.

Kate Hollywood is an air head - had the " honour" of playing most of my hockey with her. Shes not that fantastic - average really just got connections and everyone in the hockey world knows it.

Hockey will never get more coverage as the ball is too small and too hard to pick up on TV - its an amateur sport with no money so no one is interested in covering it.

Oh and I play - have for 15 years - im 19 - play womens first grade since i was 14, represented NSW, Countless merit teams including australian uni green and gold team.
Great sport - tis given me much joy and much much pain including compartments syndrome in my calves, multiple torn calves, sciatica and poor ankles.

hockey has a massive broadcast audience in other countries, why not here. In india it is the 2nd most watch sport on TV and rates quite high in the netherlands were players in the top grade are professional (ie only play hookcey, dont work).

just need some more dollars in australia to fund that kinda stuff.

vicB, did you make green and gold in 2005?? i guessing so cause u finished skool in 2004... oh and what club do u play for????

glad we dont have to travel to kiama for st george matches!! holy trek...

little bay is down the end of anzac parade. inbetween prince henry hospital and long bay gaol. So you get a great view and friendly energetic crowd... hehe

which team do you play for in eds?? think some of my friends play for UNSW in eds.
