A honeypossum is a necter feeder, so there diet consists primarily of carbohydrates including sugar (sucrose). But as per say, ^ what is the point of this question?

Not much, because the sugar is already practically broken down into what they need when ingested. Therefore they don't need to eat excess of it as it is relatively concentrated in the source of energy. Also, they only have a very small stomach.
