She is an ex Channel 9 news reporter, and then Channel 7 probably lured her over with $$$. Same thing happened to Ian Ross (who now does the nightly 6pm news for 7), he used to occasionally read the main news bulletin for Channel 9. But obviously a job as the main newsreader for Channel 7 would've been very appealing, oh the the $$$$ would be alot better than what he would've got at Channel 9.

Something tells me you have never experienced the wonder that is ABC News. Nothing else comes close in Australian free to air news.
