Although this isn't exactly answering the question... I didn't do as well as I should've for my assessments at Uni. but I worked like mad for two and a half weeks, and did reasonably well in finals... and everything turned out fine. My philosophy was --- Okay, I've stuffed my other Assessment, now get that out of my mind, and do as well as I can in my Finals... or else I'm really stuffed.
