- They seem to think their UAI matters.
- They seem to think we older students care about it.
- Often as not, alcohol goes straigt to their head.
- Probably because their new-found sense of independence did the same thing and they have no idea how to control it.
- They're arrogant little berks.
- The males all seem to think college life is like that shown in American Pie or similar film and bring 12 boxes of condoms (don't ask me how I know this).
Did your UAI suck Argo?

Is that why you are at some shithouse uni?

lol that may have been the case years ago, when the age people started drinking was like year 11 or 12. Times have changed, and by the time you have completed high school these days you have learnt how to drink alcohol.

i was thinking opposite. As a whole, the asian and indian race tend to be more intraverts than extraverts.

The above comments were a slight exaggeration. Point is that a lot of the guys think they're going to get laid only to become sorely disappointed.

No, I didn't actually. It was 80-something; I can't remember exactly what. Only reason I remember that much is because I had a deal going with my parents.

Have you been to Armidale lately? Don't judge what you can't see.

Not everyone drinks through high school, buddy.

And a lot of people still can't handle alcohol, no matter their experience. It's just the way their bodies react.

Also, I think they might go overboard more often, most of them being recently 18 so they're like "WOO legal alcohol!"

they ask questions during lectures
YES this shits me. Just shut up and ask questions in the tute. Mature age students are major source of this also, except that they might tell an anecdote. We don't care about your children, we want the lecturer to actually get in all the information, rather than spending 10 minutes talking about your kids.

OR they think they're soo smart so they argue with the lecturer.

They ask the tutor if they may go to the toilet.

They call the tutor "miss", "sir" or "mum"

I dare say at least 90% of people from my own personal experience which covers quite a few schools would be drinking by at least 16. In public schools today u have kids doing cones in year 8 as a regular occurance. hell there were people who did lines of speed on the table during history when i was in year 10.

You think the French are in need of any philosophers or psychologists, eh?
