Hey,

Since you are only in year 9 you have plenty of years to improve and achieve your desired ATAR. Getting 99.95 is extremely difficult and this is reflected by the amount of people who get this, last year 48 people got 99.95 and this is usually the amount of students who attain 99.95 each year. That being said, it isn't impossible to achieve this given you have the work ethics, the required commitment and to some extent the natural ability to do well in your studies.

Good luck!

Why should you start stressing in Year 9 anyway?

It's like OP did this on purpose to troll xD
And to get 99.95 you'd need to be top or close to top (top 10 min?) in ALL YOUR SUBJECTS. You really need to be very all rounded. But you're only Year 9 so you have time to improve :)
Atar is basically a rank against the state, taking into account the difficulties of your subjects, how well you do in school exams (50%) and how well you did in your final exam at the end of Year 12 (50%).

As for amount of hours that depends. Probably around 4-5?

As your name sounds familiar on this site and the fact that you are asking questions so early in your very early stages of high school, I'm going to assume that you are a troll.

It's higher the weeks before the exam but 4-5 should be sufficient during school days (more during weekends). Also, by 4-5 hrs I mean quality studying (not procrastinating on Facebook etc half the time).
I'll pm the personal details :p

Is there a particular reason why you want to get 99.95?

You go to NSGH. If you put in the effort and study smartly (not study hard but SMARTLY I TELL YOU) you can get there. You must me smart to get into NSGH in the first place. Oh and can you tell me how to start a new discussion or a thread (PLEASE HELP)

Because i really want to do medicine
Yeah you'll have to work very hard. I mean, UMAT is easy, it's all about the ATAR, if you can get 99.95 you won't even need to do UMAT to get into USYD Med which is actually a better med school than UNSW, just saying.

Yes i have considered going to usud for medicine but apparently you dont do med first, you do another course like economics and if you do well in it you can do med. i am choosing unsw because it is a safer option, and it offers an undergraduate course thats 6 years whereas usyd is 7 years.

lol, for USYD med it is a combined undergrad/postgrad med type thing.
You can choose from several undergrad degrees (not just economics, smh at the twelvie) and once you complete it you go into medicine (I think you have to keep a C average but that's really not hard at all lol). Tbh that's so much easier than going through the hassle of doing UMAT and getting an 99.95 ATAR. Just get 99.95 and you're pretty much in eez.

No this is a totally different pathway, you don't need to do GAMSAT.

Literally just 99.95 ATAR > do undergrad degree > post grad med
