In the context of your post, anyone can get 100 UAI regardless of where you go. It is just that it is extremely rare to see someone getting 100 UAI from a school ranked between 400-500. (no offence, it's just the recurring trend that I come across with). I know that even my school (ranked 101) will find it difficult to produce someone getting 100 UAI.
To be honest, a UAI of over 95 would be great for me, although I have very high expectations of myself. Combined Law at USYD is 99.5
and while it isn't something that I'd go crazy over, it's definitely something I'd consider if I can yield the results. If I don't make it, there's always Arts (Psychology) 98.50, Economic & Social Sciences 91.85, Commerce/Arts 94.30, Psychology 96.95.
I'm just a person who has high expectations, and if I can do Law, great.
EDIT: One thing that I'm interested in, is why Psychology has a lower UAI cut-off than Arts (Pyschology)
