Okay ive always wondered this lets say

- You get 50 % for your assessments and 75 % over all for your final exams , would your UAI be dramtically effected?

or

if you u get 80 % for your assessments but get 75 % over all for your final exams, would that mean the school set easy assessments and will drop you down ??

please help a confused child

it's your rank.. say your ranked 1st in maths

and in the HSC Exam you get 75% and the person that get's first in the exam with a mark of 99%.

Your exam mark stays as 75% and your ASSESSMENT mark becomes 99% because of your rank 1, if your rank 2 you get the next lowest exam mark and so forth..

your actual ASSESSMENT mark doesn't matter but your rank does.

basically wat sunjet said but from rank two onwards ur asse marks is mainly based on the average so if the 2nd highest exam mark was 95% and ur ranked 2 for overall asse then u might not necessarily get 95% for ur asse, u might get 92% if the average mark is lower
