Will it be quiet people doing their own thing or more like school? Also heard there may be 20+ yr olds in your first yr classes, does it really make a difference?
Depends what tutorial it is - what subject area are you thinking of?
Like maths tutes are just sit there and the only interactivity you'll probably get is telling the tutor what questions you want answered from the problem set. Others like philosophy are like 80% class participation driven.
And who cares if there's 20+ year olds in your class? You're all uni students.
It really depends. Some you do your own work and you ask the tutor when you need help, others it's like another lecture, others you do the questions at home and the tutor just goes through the questions. It depends on the tutor and the subject.

Generally speaking, they are like a class in High School, however, this can vary depending on the tutor/course supervisor/unit. Some are just there for you to work on group assignments and liaise with your team.
