Just curious. Also comment how long you think is too long to travel to uni? (considering you would have to spend this time going back home too)

Concerned about travel fatigue?

Around 40-50 mins. It's not too bad - I'm pretty used to it - traveled almost an hour one way during high school. I've pretty much perfected my sleeping time in the afternoon to just wake up when I get to the station before my station.

very lucky, I stay away from sleeping with the fear of missing my stop :(

Takes about 70min each way, including 60min train and 10min drive to the station... oh add on another 10min walk to uts, so 80min

Is there anyone that thinks anything over an hour travel would be too much? That's my thoughts... What would your limit be?

Same thing happened to me, surprisingly, after a while you'll get used to it and use the commuting time to do your readings/lectures etc. Also try to plan your timetable to justify the travel - e.g. don't go into uni for just one class if it takes you a total of 3 hours to get to there and home again.

Ultimately, you should ask yourself what time you are willing to use to travel to uni?

Some people wouldn't bother to travel more than 15 minutes, others travel for 2 hours.
