Are you asking how many hours you should be studying each night throughout the year or specific to the HSC exams? Ideally you'd be studying 3 hours a night but if you're like me... it won't happen, as a result I'm cramming like 8 hours a night during the trials.

In University, at least 7 hours per subject (assuming 4 subjects are studied in one semester) per week.
