this isnt a definition based thing. It's like saying do at least two supplementary texts and writing "my interpretation of this sentence is as follows. Two is a number. Texts refer to something we study in english".

This said refer to two extracts from your text. It was a description of what were supposed to use in our essay, not DO.

I never read the book, yet if it didn't ask for two extracts I would have gone well.

yeah, but i sorta blurred the lines of extract...it wasn't a definite "this section" for me. i used "back in time" and the end bit where everything comes together...that's what i meant by not defining the "extract". "extract" was sort of a fluid concept for me, able to change at will.
