how to prepare for speeches? (1 Viewer)

i've just been doing summaries about what each speech is about and techniques and quotes and stuff to prepare myself for the off chance that they might ask about a specific speech. Is that sufficient preparation?
also, im not really sure how to prepare for a wide range of questions?
