im prolly a bit too excited but anyways.

What raw mark do u guys would be needed to do that?

Anyway, it's nigh impossible to determine state ranks from RAW marks because RAW marks might get shitter or better according to your internal ranks+assessment mark. So I think a better questions is what aligned HSC mark constitutes a state rank, and in that case, it's probably 98+

haha fair call, i came through the new post link. im not too sure about bio's scaling tbh, im assuming at least 90+

Most likely, there's a group of the top 200 kids in biology or something that are pretty much on par. Then, luck comes into play.. and only 20 kids who get lucky in the exam.. get the state rank.
