As it stands, economics scales better then physics and chemistry. Its aligning however, is not as good as someth1ng pointed out.

whats the diff b/w scalin n aliging?
Wow this is new to me.
Would economics' aligning disadvantage outweigh its superior scaling?
The aligning is not horrible but its not great. The Board of Studies economics department just likes to troll students.
If you want a premiers award, this might be a bad thing. But other than that, it doesnt really affect your HSC.
Scaling and ATAR are calculated independently of the BOS so the 'bad' aligning is not a disadvantage at all.
