I got a letter today saying I have an offer at Hurlstone. I have to go to an interview. Does that mean I will still go to Hurlstone, regardless of my interview contents. Obviously I will say good stuff and talk about how i will try my best.

I'm in year 8 by the way, applying for year 9 next year.

I believe they take the interview into consideration, but providing you don't epically screw up, you're pretty much in.

Congratz Buddy. I got an acceptance offer too xD but I'm in Year 10 and deciding between Syd Tech and Hurlstone.
Regardless, Gratz! Good Luck!

Would you rather slam keyboards or shove your hand up a cow's arse?

Excuse me, shoving your hand up a cow's arse is not as bad as people make it out to be. Quite the contrary.

Actually, I wouldn't mind doing that. I love agriculture

DOES ANY ONE HAVE THE KIND OF QUESTIONS THEY MIGHT ASK?
Quoted from the letter of acceptance: 'The interview will focus on your child's values, aspirations and the requirement of all new students to study Agriculture.'

I've seen that. But what are the actual questions they are likely to ask?

Do you like cows? ;D and chickens?

I guess things like:
A question about studying agriculture in the school.
What can you bring to Hurlstone?
Why did you choose Hurlstone for your schooling?
How will you travel here?
Your subject choices?
What are your aspirations and what is your plan for the future?
etc.

I remember for my brother; they asked if he watched the news or current affair, what his favourite book was and etc.
