I have begun to get my Other Related Texts together for "Belonging" and I have begun to start looking into techniques conveying aspects of Belonging etc.
Probably one of the main ORT's I have been de-constructing lately is "I am Sam" and I have been going through looking for techniques etc, I was just wondering if anyone has/anyone is doing it and has found some some great angles and scenes that really convey assumptions perfectly.
So fair I have concluded that I am Sam conveys aspects of Belonging such as:

- Connections to people can create a sense of belonging through relationships (Sam - Lucy)
- Belonging can enrich our identity and relationships leading to acceptance and understanding (Sam teach Rita about her own child; Foster parents understanding Sam's predicament)
- Barriers in society can prevent belonging (Sam's disability, Court battle)
