My wam is sitting around 47 at the moment and I really hate the course I'm in. I'm finishing up my second year, and my wam probably isn't getting much better. Am I stuck in my course? Or can I rely purely on my atar (or is it too late)?

why don't you talk to the uni and see what options you have
my friend was doing really badly in his original degree too but he ended up transferring to another and got his whole transcript wiped

You could attempt 4 easy courses, like not even from the science faculty, in order to boost your WAM. Sure it won't be counted towards your degree, but it may boost your WAM. But you should talk to the science faculty and see what you can do about it.

why are you doing a bachelor of science if you hate it?
there are plenty of science grads with a credit or a distinction average not being able to find jobs in their related area.
i'd say cut your losses and do something that interests you.

good thing that you have decided to transfer.
you can transfer to another uni for a different course.
you might be able to use your atar depending on the course.

if all fails transfer to UWS lol

Because some people enjoy science at school and then get to uni and are like "this is fucking terrible"

there are plenty of science grads with a credit or a distinction average not being able to find jobs in their related area.
Cool…?

If you bothered to read the thread that's what they are trying to do but their WAM is terrible.
