I was told by my teacher that for the ATAR, if you're doing 12 units, you're top 10 units are chosen, what happens to that other 2 unit subject? Does it still get counted? My teacher was basically trying to say that you shouldn't drop a subject.
Now let's say I'm doing Chemistry, and so far so good, but I want to drop it and I'll end up with 10 units because it'll save me studying time that I can use for other subjects, is that a good idea? Now referring back to my teacher, if I continue doing Chemistry, and let's say it's that 2 unit subject that wasn't chosen in the top 10 units, what happens to it?
