IB Results:

Very pleased to learn yesterday from my IB Maths HL(Higher Level) student that she has achieved a 7 (highest grade for an IB subject).

This is a testament to her own ability and hard work.

USyd Statistics Result:

Just been informed by my University of Sydney student doing 1st Yr Statistics course that he has achieved a High Distinction. The course was relatively challenging for him because he did only 2U Maths (Advanced). I'm very pleased for him.

I know he cannot blame me entirely for his success.

Props to Drongoski once again :)
Thank you once again, Yongzhen.

I hope you are enjoying your Petroleum Engineering. The price of crude has dropped by over 50% over the last 6 months! Should recover somewhat by the time you graduate.

I can take one or two more - from Yr 9 to Yr 12, for the HSC or IB.

Places aren't going quickly. But I can't predict when someone will contact me next. Sometimes, unexpectedly, like last week, a couple of people, on the same day, living 25 km apart, both with house No 10, asked me to tutor them. But usually I receive no inquiry for weeks.

Anyway, if anyone is looking for a very experienced Maths tutor, preferably from around the Epping area, please PM me.

No worries! I've heard many good things about you! Deserves the bump. Can't go past such an experienced tutor who can tutor so many levels of maths (HSC, IB and Uni)!

I was relating in a separate thread the amazing fact that my last 4 new students (this month) all live at No 10. The houses are at different suburbs: Cherrybrook, St Ives, North Epping and Carlingford. I then thought this to be such a amazing coincidence.

I then thought: what if people living at other house numbers do not want my services? I'll be having a very narrow catchment!

Phew.

As of 8 days ago, my last 4 new students all live at No 10.

The spell has now been broken. All my new students, including 2 doing IB Maths (HL), do not live at No 10. What a relief.
