Oh

Do you have any backup projects?
At this stage, it would be a disgrace to the teacher that helped my by giving me resources for this hand cranked generator project, I already have the led, coils, timber stage etc all ready but the handcrank part is effed.

You can purchase them online but I think the point of this is to show something you have made, not just something you bought and attached an LED to.

Those motors need to spin very fast and require little torque (i hope that's the right term) to generate power. Do you have one? You can pull one out of a toy or something. I think you would need a very small gear on the motors shaft and a very large gear on the handcrank. Maybe you can use a small bottle lid, drill a hole small hole in it and put the motors shaft through it. Some glue might be required. Also maybe use a circular container (or its lid) for the larger gear. Attach a handle and put it on an rotating axle. Put a tight rubber band around the two container lids and turn the crank. Should light up. The LED will only light up if you spin the motor in one direction so be sure to try both directions.

I have a few motors in my hobby box.
