I'm narrowing the abortion debate down to a personal level.

If you, or your girlfriend (and if you don't have one, lets pretend you do) were pregant RIGHT NOW, and you know it for sure, what would you do???

Personally right now??? RIGHT NOW if i was pregnant I'd abort (and no late abortions too). I'm in no shape of form to carry a child for nine months - I'm underweight, emotionally unstable, financially unstable, from a cultural background that would leave me "disowned", therefore committing to a job is even harder and I'm fucked in the head. I hope it doesn't turn into another abortion debate, but I wanna know who's actually "ready" to face consequences.

Oh and no I'm not pregnant and give reasons for your answer by the way.

Kick her in the stomach or flee the country. That or support her in getting an abortion.

She'd abort, I would support her. I'd be quite saddened of course, wondering what the child would have been like. But it would completely ruin both our lives not to.

i personally would want to keep the baby. i think you should take responsibility in this case. its not the babies fault that they exist so they should be aloud to live.

Nah, different people have different views. Bit risky but mehhh.

On a weird tangent, my uncle married really young, partied to the hardest, didn't want to "aim" for a top position in a career etc and was considered going no where.

He died pretty early. So i'd say things worked out for him. He lived life to the fullest.

(Not saying your friend is going to die early, I'm just saying, each to their own?)

its not always the parents fault either. No contraception method offers 100% protection, and accidents can happen. So the only responsible thing to do is dont have sex..
yeah i understand that. but it should not be a vulnerable babies fault that they exist either. i personally couldnt have a baby aborted because it is inconvenient. they cant help existing and in my opinion i dont think they should have to die for the reason they are not wanted. they could get adopted or something

I'm with most other people. I'd abort. I don't think I want kids ever, let along when I'm 17. Talk about a way to ruin your life. Not everyone's of course, maybe having children at 17 is some people's thing, but not mine.
If the baby was already 24 weeks or later, which wouldn't happen of course because I'd alread yhave aborted, but hypothetically speaking, then I'd probably have it and give it up for adoption.

well some people have very irregular periods, and sometimes when you're pregnant it still comes, but in smaller amounts.
Oh god, why am I answering these types of questions.
