Congratulations again to Giles Samuel Vernon Gardam for the IMO bronze, but also for coming first in the 2007 HSC for Ext. 2 and winning the T.G. Room medal.

Thanks buchanan. All 4 names is a bit excessive, isn't it ;)? (It wasn't my choice.)

Don't worry Zephyrio, I also wouldn't mind having topped 2u.

And congratulations to Sen Lin for the Honourable Mention for the perfect score in Question 4 in the 2007 IMO, but also for coming first in the state in 2008 for Extension 1 & 2 Mathematics.

Also to Matthew Menzies for his Silvers in the 2007 and 2008 IMOs, but also for the equal first for Ext. 2 Maths for 2008!

yay, congrats to those!

But the photos are little bit too old...:p

The last time I saw them, they looked much different. :uhhuh:

BTW, what happened to Irene Lo? She got first in the state for 3 Unit...that deserves some mention.

So who will get the T.G. Room medal?

Everyone agrees that Sen Lin should get it because he came equal first in Ext. 1 and 2.

But technically, the T.G. Room is only based on Ext. 2, not Ext. 1, so most agree also that Matthew Menzies should get it too despite not coming first in Ext. 1.

hahaha nice!
And no state rank! thats kinda a surprise. It just shows that even the best of us can have exams that dont suit them.
