As a child, Marcus thought that Humphrey B Bear was the devil and thus declines to join in on the picnic.

(Marcus just used two prepositions consecutively, and wonders if this means that his sentence construction is getting flabby)

Justin participated in no rain dance, and the picnic was abruptly ended when the rain came down. The festivities were continued, however, when everyone returned to Justin's place.

Now he is feeling very self-conscious, as his syntax and inability to compose proper sentances must have appeared several times (mayhaps, every) in posting, and that perhaps Marcus and others find it a bit annoying.

Justin confesses that he knows very little of the terms used in writing, however he is aware of sentence structure and the like.

Katie chastises Justin for being a wuss and not continuing picnic in the rain.

Marcus wonders if the indoor picnic at Justin's place ended up being a good occassion.

Katie apologises to Justin for calling him a wuss, although she suspects there is no smoke without a fire.

Justin states that it was his brother's 16th birthday party, and that it was very enjoyable once everyone was out of the rain. He also states that being out of the wind can make anything more enjoyable.

Marcus really doesn't give a hoot if people make solecisms in conversation. Marcus, is however, self-evaluative.

Katie apologises to Justin for calling him a wuss, although she suspects there is no smoke without a fire.

Justin accepts Katie's apology, and is also a firm believer that a fire is essential for smoke, unless of course one has a smoke machine, in which texta-smelling smoke can be formed.

Justin suggests that owls would probably give a hoot regardless of the situation.

Katie agrees with Justin, although Katie just saw smoke come out of the dishwasher after she got out of bed to open it. Katie is aware of how odd that sentence is.
