This question is so hard please help. I have already done one for finishing techniques (mercerization) but now i need one for one of the others... thanks guys!!!
Select a textile innovation in two of the following areas:
- fibre
- yarn
- fabrics

For each of the two innovations selected:

1) state the fibre, yarn, fabric and the specific end use.

2) Discuss the enhanced performance of the textile.

3) Evaluate the impact of the construction and time saving advances of the machinery.

4) Explain the advantages and disadvantages to the:
- consumer
- manufacturer
- employee
- environment

5) Analyse the impact the innovation has on society and the environment

Hey, How about Kevlar, used for protection in motorcycle jeans...
look up "Dragging Jeans" in google...
Does anyone know, would kevlar be a fibre? Or a Fabric.
I only have to do one innovation from fibre, yarn and Fabric.

And if anyone has any ideas for the textile finish would be great!
Thanks
